Quality starts before the first printed layer
A good printed part is not created by a fine layer height alone. File, material, orientation, walls, support strategy and intended use must work together, so each order is checked for technical plausibility before production.

What is reviewed
The server-side check repeats the order-relevant file and configuration checks. Unclear geometry, units, build-volume violations or implausible information must be resolved before production.

State process characteristics openly
Layer lines, support traces, slight colour or gloss differences and limited dimensional deviations cannot be eliminated completely in FDM. Strength can also vary with layer direction.
The quality level primarily describes layer height. It is not a blanket guarantee of tighter tolerances or greater mechanical strength.
Protect function-critical parts
For fits, assemblies, continuous load or recurring batches, a test part is sensible. Tolerances, orientation and material can then be checked against the real mating component.

Common questions
Are visible layers a defect?
No. Visible layers are a normal FDM characteristic. Their prominence depends on layer height, geometry and orientation.
Does 0.12 mm guarantee accurate dimensions?
No. Finer layers mainly reduce stepping in the Z direction. Accuracy also depends on material, geometry, orientation and post-processing.
Can suitability for my use be certified?
Only after explicit technical consultation. A standard order does not include certification, FEA or approval for regulated or safety-critical uses.
